Queensland's economy has enjoyed a boom in the tourism and mining industries over the last twenty years. It's our vision (and that of the Queensland Governement) that the next 20 years will see the state's IT industry live up to its potential, creating a true 'smart state'. A sizeable influx of interstate and overseas migrants, large amounts of federal government investment, increased mining of vast mineral deposits and an ever expanding aerospace sector ensure that Queensland will remain Australia's fastest growing economy in the foreseeable future. As part of the growth of the Queensland IT sector we are working on an IT capability directory for Queensland. The directory should be ready for release later in 2007. Please watch this space.
